VI. Google Services

This website uses the Google services described in more detail below, which are provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The information generated when using the services can be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We have concluded the current EU standard contractual clauses with the provider as the legal basis for any third country transfer that may take place. We also assume that your consent also relates to the third country transfer. In this regard, we would like to point out that we do not know exactly how the data is processed by Google and who (e.g. also US authorities and secret services) accesses the data. In general, there is no adequate level of data protection in the USA comparable to the GDPR and the enforcement of your rights may be considerably more difficult, which is why risks cannot be completely ruled out.

VI. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service that uses cookies (text files that are stored on your computer) to enable us to analyze your use of the website and to continuously improve our offer and make it more interesting.

If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to a third country. This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”. As a result, IP addresses are further processed in abbreviated form, so that they cannot be linked to a specific person. If the data collected about you is personally identifiable, it is immediately excluded and the personal data is deleted immediately. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

This website also uses Google Analytics for a cross-device analysis of visitor flows, which is carried out via a user ID. You can deactivate the cross-device analysis of your usage in your customer account under “My data”, “Personal data”.

The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is your consent and thus Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

VI. Google Ads

We use Google Ads to draw attention to our offers with the help of advertising material on external websites. We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the advertising campaign data. We are interested in showing you advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.

These advertising materials are delivered by Google via so-called “ad servers”. For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, through which certain parameters for measuring success, such as the display of ads or clicks by users, can be measured. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Adwords will store a cookie on your PC. These cookies generally lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. The unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be addressed) are usually stored as analysis values for this cookie.

These cookies enable Google to recognize your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an Ads customer’s website and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. A different cookie is assigned to each Adwords customer. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. Based on these evaluations, we can recognize which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising material; in particular, we cannot identify users on the basis of this information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of Google Ads, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out your IP address and store it.

You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) by setting your browser software accordingly, in particular suppressing third-party cookies will prevent you from receiving ads from third-party providers; b) by deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com”, https://www.google. de/settings/ads, whereby this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies; c) by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the “About Ads” self-regulation campaign via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies; d) by permanently deactivating them in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

The legal basis for the use of Google Ads is your consent and thus Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

VIII. LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms

If you contact us via LinkedIn and fill out a lead gen form, we process the personal data provided there (e.g. name, email address, company affiliation) to process your request and to contact you.
Data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the implementation of pre-contractual measures or on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) in the efficient processing of inquiries.
Data is only passed on to third parties to technical service providers who support us in collecting and processing the data. Your data will not be sold.
Further information on your rights can be found in the general information in this privacy policy.
